- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I live in Brunswick and am not a regular patient of Dr. Lentz. We were visiting Jesup as evacuees from Hurricane Irma. I was stricken with a case of shingles on my right forehead and around my eye, and had been to a clinic, an optometrist, and my regular physician in Brunswick. I had already been through a course of antiviral meds, but had relapsed, and the shingles on my face had flared up even worse during our evacuation to Jesup. In the aftermath of the storm, Dr. Lentz was entirely alone in his practice the morning of my visit, seeing to some roof leaks in his building. There was no receptionist or anyone else there, but he took me as a walk-in. After some preliminary paperwork, he quickly ushered me back to an examination room, gave me a shot and some prescriptions, plus a pat on the back and some sympathetic words. Thanks to his intervention, I am now recovering well. I was impressed with Dr. Lentz's warm and sympathetic manner, which I could tell was genuine. If he were based in Brunswick or I in Jesup, I'd make him my regular doctor.May 27, 2017by Robertson Shinnick
